For broiler farms

Broiler farm record keeping, done in the house on the phone

A broiler crop is in the house for a few weeks, so every day's record counts. With Chickensystem your stockmen write down deaths, culls, feed, weights, water and climate on their phone, even without signal in the house. You and your supervisors get an alert when a house passes a limit you have set.

A starting template, finished together with you

We don't hand you an empty login. We start from our broiler template. It covers the daily house record, weight samples, water and climate readings, routines and alerts. Then we finish it and adjust it with you before anyone starts using it.

To be honest, it is a starting point, not a finished product for every farm. Your houses, causes of death, reading times, limits and wording are set up to match how your farm already works. Nothing goes live until you have seen it and agreed.

What gets recorded for each broiler house

Every house has its own record for each day, written by the person who did the work.

  • Daily house record

Dead and culled birds, each with a cause. Feed used in kilograms. A notes field for anything the next shift should know.

  • Weight samples

Record how many birds were weighed and their average weight in grams. You get a weighing record for each house, dated and with the name of the person who weighed.

  • Water readings

Water meter readings are written down for each house, with the time they were taken.

  • Climate readings

Temperature and other climate readings for each house are kept next to that day's mortality and feed, so you can see them together.

Routines that remind the right person

The template has the routines most broiler farms run. The daily house record is done twice a day, at 08:00 and 17:00, and the weighing is done every Monday. The person on duty gets a reminder on their phone before each one is due.

If a routine isn't done in time, it is marked as missed. You can see which house and which round it was, without walking every shed to check.

An alert when mortality in a house passes your limit

You decide how many dead birds in one house in one day is too many. When a registration takes a house past that limit, the supervisor gets an alert on their phone as soon as the record syncs. Critical alerts show on the lock screen.

Mortality is where most farms start. More alert limits can be set up for your farm as we go.

Incidents and a full history for every house

A broken drinker line, a feeder fault or a damaged curtain can be reported from the house where it happened, with photos. Supervisors assign it and follow it until it is closed.

Every registration for each house and day stays in the history. You can look back at earlier days and export the tables to Excel or PDF when you need them on paper or in a file.

Records you can rely on

  • Works offline in the houses

Registrations and photos are saved on the phone first. They are sent in the right order when there is coverage again, and nothing is counted twice.

  • Each worker picks their language

The app is available in English, Swedish and Turkish today. Each person chooses their own. More languages can be added on request.

  • Who, when and on which device

Every registration keeps who made it, when and on which phone. That helps when you need to show your records or check what happened on a given day.

  • Corrections without deleting

A correction is saved as a new version with a reason. The original stays in the history. Nothing is deleted.

  • Connected to your own systems

We build integrations with the systems your farm already uses, such as a climate computer or scales. Their figures then come in on their own and nobody has to type them twice.

How to get started

  1. 1

    Tell us about your farm

Your sites, how many houses, how you keep records today and what you'd like to improve.

  2. 2

We go through it with you

On a call, we look at your routines, forms and systems and agree what Chickensystem should cover from day one.

  3. 3

We set up the template for your farm

Houses, causes, reading times, routines, alert limits, languages and integrations. You see the result before anyone starts.

  4. 4

    Training and go-live

Short sessions in the house for staff and on screen for managers. We follow the first days closely and adjust anything that needs it.

Questions broiler growers ask

Is this a ready-made broiler system?

No. It starts from our broiler template, and we complete and adjust it with your farm before go-live. That way the forms and routines match the work your team already does.

Our sheds have no mobile signal. Will the app still work?

Yes. Everything is saved on the phone and sent when the phone is back in coverage.

Which languages can our staff use?

English, Swedish and Turkish are available today, and each worker picks their own. Other languages can be added on request.

What happens if someone enters the wrong figure?

They correct it, and the correction is saved as a new version with a reason. The original entry stays in the history with who made it, when and on which device.

Can we get our records out of the system?

Yes. The tables can be exported to Excel or PDF.

What does it cost?

It is quoted for each farm after a conversation, based on what you need set up and which integrations we build.
