For hatchery managers and owners
Hatchery record keeping software set up for your hatchery
Chickensystem records each step from hatching eggs in to chicks out: egg receipt, setting, candling and the hatch result. Setter checks run on a fixed timetable with reminders. Your staff register on the phone, even where there is no signal.

A starting template, finished with you
We do not hand you an empty system, and we do not claim to have one that fits every hatchery out of the box. We start from our hatchery template and finish it together with you before anyone goes live.
That means going through your setters, your parent flocks, the forms you use today and the limits you work to. We adjust the template to match. Fields you never use are hidden, and anything missing is added.
You see the result and sign it off before your team starts registering.
Records for every step of the hatch
Each step is a short form on the phone. What used to sit on clipboards and whiteboards is registered on the phone, with who did it and when.
Hatching egg receipt per parent flock
Register the eggs received from each parent flock and how many were rejected on arrival. You can always see which flock the eggs came from.
Setting
Record which setter the eggs went into and how many eggs were set.
Candling
Book the clear (infertile) eggs and the early dead embryos found at candling.
Hatch result
Register first-grade chicks, second-grade chicks and unhatched eggs for each hatch.
Setter temperature and humidity, three times a day
Setter temperature and humidity are registered at 07:00, 15:00 and 23:00. This is set up as a scheduled routine. The person on duty gets a reminder 15 minutes before each check.
A check not done by its deadline is marked as missed, so the night shift's 23:00 reading cannot quietly slip. You can change the times to fit your shifts.

A critical alert when a setter runs hot
When the highest setter temperature registered that day goes above your limit, a critical alert is pushed to the people responsible. The limit is 38 °C by default, and you can set your own. On iPhone it comes through as time-sensitive, and on Android it uses its own channel with sound and vibration.
The supervisor opens the alert, acknowledges it (also without coverage) and resolves it with a note on what was done. If nobody acknowledges a critical alert, it is sent again and escalated. If no phone can be reached, the alert is e-mailed.

Records you can rely on
Who, when and on which device
Every registration keeps who made it, when and on which device. Corrections are saved as new versions with a reason. Nothing is deleted.
Incidents with photos
Anyone can report an incident, such as a fault on a setter or a hygiene problem, and add photos. Supervisors assign it and follow it until it is closed, with a comment at each step.
Full history, exported to Excel or PDF
Each registration has a history you can look back on. Tables can be exported to Excel or PDF when you need to share or file them.
Works offline in the hatchery
Registrations, photos and checklists are saved on the phone first and sent in order when the connection returns. Nothing is counted twice.
Each worker picks their language
The app is available in English, Swedish and Turkish today, and each worker chooses their own. More languages can be added on request.
Connected to your own systems
We build integrations to the systems you already use, so figures arrive on their own and nobody types the same number twice.
How you get started
- 1
Tell us about your hatchery
Your setters, your parent flocks, how you keep records today and what you want to improve.
- 2
We go through your routines
Together we look at your forms, checks and systems, and agree what Chickensystem should cover from the start.
- 3
We complete the template
We adjust the hatchery template to your setters, forms, check times, alert limits, languages and integrations, and show you the result before go-live.
- 4
Training and go-live
Short sessions on your own setup: staff learn the phone app, and managers learn the web side. We follow the first days closely and adjust what needs it.
Questions hatchery managers ask
Is this a finished hatchery system?
It is a starting template. We complete and adjust it with your hatchery before go-live, so the forms, check times and limits match how you actually work.
Can we change the setter check times or the temperature limit?
Yes. The checks are set up at 07:00, 15:00 and 23:00, and the alert limit is 38 °C by default. Both can be changed to suit your hatchery.
What happens if someone enters a wrong figure?
They correct it, and the correction is saved as a new version with a reason. The original stays in the history, along with who made each entry, when and on which device.
Does the app work where there is no signal?
Yes. Registrations are saved on the phone and sent when the connection returns.
Which languages are available?
English, Swedish and Turkish today, and each worker chooses their own. Other languages can be added on request.
What does it cost?
We quote each hatchery after a conversation, based on what you need and which integrations we build.
More about Chickensystem for hatcheries
A hatchery works to a timetable that does not wait. See how Chickensystem turns each step into a registration or a checklist, so the timetable and the hygiene behind it are on record.
