Hatcheries

Hatchery management software for a process that runs on time

A hatchery works to a timetable that does not wait: eggs in, set, transferred, hatched and dispatched on fixed days. Chickensystem turns the steps from egg receipt to hatch into registrations and checklists, so the timetable and the hygiene behind it are documented.

Today's tasks per department, with missed tasks

From egg reception to hatch

Hatching eggs arrive from the parent flocks and are recorded per parent flock. They are stored, set in the setters and later transferred to the hatchers. Chicks are counted, graded, perhaps vaccinated, and dispatched to the customer’s farm.

Hygiene is the daily work

  • Cleaning and disinfection of setters, hatchers and trays after every cycle
  • Checks of incubator temperature and humidity during the day
  • Hygiene samples and their results
  • Clean and dirty zones, and who passes between them

How it is configured

From the hatchery template

We start from our hatchery template and set up the departments, forms and checklists for your process with you.

Incubator data

If your setters and hatchers offer an export or an interface, we connect them so their readings arrive automatically.

Alerts on the setters

Setter temperature and humidity are registered on a timetable, and a critical alert goes out when the temperature passes the limit you set.

Frequently asked questions

Is the hatchery setup finished?

It is a starting template. We complete it together with each hatchery before go-live, because no two processes are the same.

Can incubator readings be imported?

Often, yes — if your equipment can export its data or offers an API, we build the integration.

Can we register chick dispatch and send delivery notes?

Not in the hatchery setup today. Egg receipt, setting, candling and hatch results are registered; tell us how you dispatch chicks and we will look at it with you.

Can hygiene checklists include photos?

Yes. A photo can be attached when a checklist is ticked off.

Tell us about your hatchery

Setters, hatchers, weekly volumes and the checks you run — and we will show you how the process can be set up.
