Tasks, checklists and incidents
Routines, a farm biosecurity log and incident follow-up
The daily routines that keep a farm safe are easy to skip on a busy day. Chickensystem reminds the right person, records that the job was done, and follows up what went wrong.
A farm task checklist app with reminders
Set up recurring tasks per department: the water readings at 10:00, 13:00, 15:00 and 17:00, the silo weighing at 07:00, daily dusting, weekly pest control. The person on duty gets a reminder 15 minutes before; a task not done by its deadline is marked as missed and can raise an alert.

A biosecurity log at the wash station
Visitors are registered when they arrive: name, company, purpose, who they visit, whether they have been on another farm in the last 48 hours, and their signature. A visitor from another farm notifies the supervisors at once. Check-out adds the time they left.

Farm incident reporting
Anyone can report an incident from the department where it happened — a broken drinker line, a feed spill, a fallen fence — with photos. Supervisors assign it and move it from new to investigating, action taken and closed, with a comment at every step. High and critical incidents raise an alert.

Frequently asked questions
Can we create our own tasks and checklists?
Yes. Company admins add tasks with their own items and schedule, for one department or all of a type, and can assign them to a person.
Who gets the reminder?
The person the task is assigned to, otherwise the employees who register in that department.
Do reminders work without coverage?
Yes. In the phone app, reminders are scheduled on the device from the task list it has downloaded.
Can a checklist item need a photo?
Yes. A photo can be added when ticking a checklist off, for example to show a cleaned house.
Is the visitor log kept?
Yes. Every visit is kept with its signature, and the log can be exported for an audit.
