Pig farms

Pig farm management software for the daily rounds

On a pig farm the work moves through sections: farrowing, weaning, growing and finishing. Chickensystem records what happens in each section on the phone, and tells the manager when a figure is out of line.

The daily round

Each section is walked through every morning: animals checked, sick and dead animals recorded, feeders and drinkers looked at, the climate noted. Treatments are given and written down with their withdrawal times. Animals move from section to section as they grow.

Where the risks are

  • Treatments recorded on paper, with withdrawal times that are easy to miss before delivery
  • A section where feed or water intake drops without anyone seeing it in time
  • Rising mortality in one section, hidden in the total for the farm
  • Cleaning between batches that is not documented

How it is configured

Sections as departments

Each section is a department with its own registrations, checklists and limits. Staff only see the sections they work in.

Treatments with withdrawal times

Medication is recorded with dose, treatment days and withdrawal period, like in our poultry modules.

Feed from your own mill

If you mix your own feed, the feed mill module follows recipes, production and silos.

Frequently asked questions

Do you support sow management?

We configure the registrations for your process. Tell us what you track today, and we will show you how it can be set up — and say clearly if something is outside what we do.

Is the pig setup finished?

It is a starting template that we complete with each farm before go-live.

Can medication be recorded with withdrawal times?

Yes, with treatment days and withdrawal periods, so they are visible before animals leave the farm.

Can staff use their own language?

Yes. Each person chooses English, Turkish or Swedish today, and new languages can be added.
