Broiler farms

Broiler farm management software for short cycles

A broiler flock is in the house for a few weeks. There is little time to notice a problem and none to recover from it. Chickensystem gives every day of the cycle a record and an alert when a house drifts.

The routines of a cycle

Chicks are placed and counted. In the first days the brooding temperature and the litter matter most; later it is ventilation, water and feed. Mortality and culls are checked every round. At the end the house is emptied, cleaned and disinfected before the next placement — and that has to be documented too.

Where the risks are

  • First-week mortality that is higher than it should be
  • Water intake that falls behind the growth of the birds
  • A house that is too warm at the end of the cycle, when the birds are heaviest
  • Cleaning and down time between flocks that is shortened or not recorded

How it is configured

From the broiler template

We start from our broiler template: houses, daily mortality and culls, feed, water, climate and weight samples. Then we adjust it with you to match your houses and routines.

Weights where you need them

Sample weighings are added as a registration form, so they are recorded and shown with your other figures.

Alerts for the critical days

Limits for mortality, water and temperature are set per house, so the supervisor hears about a problem the same day.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a ready-made setup for broilers?

There is a starting template. We complete it with you before go-live, so it matches your houses and the way you run a cycle.

Can we record sample weights?

Yes. Weighings are set up as a registration form with the fields you use.

Can we document cleaning between flocks?

Yes, as a checklist with photos, so the house history shows when it was cleaned and by whom.

Does the app work in the houses without coverage?

Yes. Registrations are kept on the phone and sent when it reconnects.
