Flock and house management
Hen house monitoring, house by house
Know what is happening in every house each day: the flock, the hens you have now, mortality and culls, water per 1,000 hens, feed in the silos, the climate and every treatment.
Flock management that keeps the history
Place a flock with breed, number of hens and age at placement. Chickensystem counts the age in weeks and the hens left after dead and culled birds. When the house is emptied, you end the flock and the next one starts with a clean count — earlier flocks stay available for comparison.

Mortality tracking with causes and photos
Staff register dead and culled hens with a cause and, when it is unclear, a photo. The house shows today’s count, the trend over 30 days and the mortality % of the flock. If one house passes your daily limit — say 20 dead hens — the supervisor is alerted the moment the registration syncs.

Water consumption monitoring from meter readings
Water meters are read at fixed times, for example 10:00, 13:00, 15:00 and 17:00. The app shows the previous reading, so a slip of the finger stands out. Consumption is calculated from consecutive readings and shown as litres per 1,000 hens — the figure that drops first when something is wrong with drinkers, feed or health.

Climate, cleaning and health in the same place
Climate checks
Temperatures, humidity, ventilation and the light programme, entered by hand or imported from your climate computer.
Daily cleaning
Dead birds picked up, dusting and manure belt run, each ticked off with an optional photo.
Vaccination and medication
Treatments with dose, treatment days and egg and meat withdrawal periods. An active egg withdrawal shows a red banner on the house.
Vet visits and salmonella samples
Visits and samples are recorded per house; the lab result is added to the sample when it arrives.
Frequently asked questions
Can we follow several sites and many houses?
Yes. A company can have several sites, each with its own houses, warehouse and other departments.
How is water per 1,000 hens calculated?
From the difference between consecutive readings of the same meter, divided by the hens in the house that day. A meter reset is ignored rather than counted.
What happens when we move hens between houses?
A house has one active flock. To move birds, you end the flock in one house and place a new one in the other, so each house keeps a correct count.
Can climate figures come from our house computer?
Yes, through an integration. Imported figures are marked as automatic, next to the manual checks.
Who can place and end flocks?
Supervisors and company admins. Employees register the daily figures in the houses they work in.
