For pig farms
Pig farm record keeping that happens in the unit, not at the end of the week
Your staff record farrowings, deaths, feed and weighings on their phone while they are with the pigs, even where there is no signal. Chickensystem is set up for your farm's units and routines, and the supervisor hears about it when a figure goes past your limit.

A starting template, finished with you
We will be straight with you: the pig setup in Chickensystem starts from a template. It covers the records most pig units keep every day. It is not a finished system that fits every farm as it comes.
Before anyone on your farm starts using it, we go through the template with you. We add what is missing, hide what you do not use and change the forms to match how your team works. Your staff begin on a setup made for your farm, not a general one.
Every unit is its own department
Chickensystem follows the way your farm is laid out. Each unit is a department, with its own forms, tasks and people.
Farrowing, gestation, finishing and feed store
Each unit is set up as a department. Records, tasks and incidents belong to the unit where they happened.
Staff see their own units
A worker in the farrowing house sees the farrowing house. They do not have to scroll past units they never set foot in.
Pens where you need them
Pens can be set up per unit, so a record can name the pen as well as the unit when that matters to you.
What your team records
The template starts with these records. We adjust them with you before go-live.
Farrowing record per sow
Sow ID, the number of piglets born alive and the number stillborn, recorded when the farrowing is checked.
Daily finishing record
Dead pigs with the cause of death, and the feed used that day in kilograms.
Weighings
How many pigs were weighed and their average weight in kilograms.
Incidents with photos
A broken feeder, a damaged gate, a feed spill. Anyone can report it from the unit where it happened and add photos.
The morning round, with a reminder
The finishing units have a daily round at 07:30. The person on duty gets a reminder on their phone before it is due.
When the round is done, it is recorded with the time and the name of the person who did it. If it is not done in time, it is marked as missed. You can see which rounds were done and which were missed, without having to ask around.

An alert when deaths in a unit go past your limit
When the deaths recorded in one unit on one day go past the limit, the supervisor gets an alert on their phone. The limit starts at 3 and you can change it for your farm.
The supervisor opens the alert, acknowledges it and adds a note on what was done. The check runs as soon as the record syncs, so the alert comes on the day, not at the end of the week.

Incidents followed through to the end
Supervisors assign each incident and move it from new to investigating, action taken and closed, with a comment at every step. The photos stay with the report.
You can export the tables to Excel or PDF when you need to go through them in a meeting, send them on or keep a copy.

Records you can rely on
Who, when and on which device
Every record stores who made it, when, and on which phone.
Corrections keep the history
A correction is saved as a new version with a reason. Nothing is deleted, so you can always see what was recorded first and why it changed.
Works offline in the houses
Records are saved on the phone first. When the phone is back in range, they are sent in the order they were made, and nothing is counted twice.
English, Swedish or Turkish
The app is available in English, Swedish and Turkish today. Each worker picks their own language. We can add more languages on request.
Connected to the systems you already use
Most farms already have other software, such as an accounting system. We build integrations between Chickensystem and your own systems, so the same figure does not have to be typed in twice.
What we connect depends on your farm, so we agree it with you in the first conversation.
How you get started
- 1
Tell us about your farm
Your sites, units, roughly how many sows and finishers you have, how you keep records today and what you want to improve.
- 2
We go through your routines
Together we look at your forms, rounds and reports, and agree what the pig template should cover from day one.
- 3
We set up your system
Units, pens, forms, daily rounds, alert limits, languages and integrations. You see the result before your staff start.
- 4
Training and go-live
Staff learn the phone app in the unit. Supervisors learn to follow up alerts and incidents. We follow the first days closely and adjust what needs it.

Read about pig farmsQuestions pig farmers ask
Is the pig setup ready to use straight away?
It starts from a template. Before go-live we complete it and adjust it with you, so the units, pens, forms and limits match your farm.
Does the app work where there is no signal in the sheds?
Yes. Records, photos and finished rounds are saved on the phone and sent when it is back in range.
Which languages can my staff use?
English, Swedish and Turkish today. Each worker chooses their own. Other languages can be added on request.
What if someone enters a wrong number?
They correct it, and the correction is saved as a new version with a reason. The first entry is kept, along with who made each change, when and on which device.
Can we get our records out of the system?
Yes. Tables can be exported to Excel or PDF.
What does it cost?
The price is quoted for each farm after a conversation, because the setup and any integrations depend on your units and the systems you already use.
